@Tony: Is it bad that i’m a furry and I agree with the repressed minority comment? Though I attribute most of the fandom’s ‘reputation’ to ‘tornado syndrome’ as I call it. After all, a tornado runs through an area.. the media doesn’t find intellectual people to interview. it’s always people with missing teeth who say it sounded like a train. Same with the fandom. The media bypasses the normal (in a relative sense) people, and goes straight for the most deranged ones they can find.. though there isn’t a shortage of those either unfortunatly.

@ohmybob: "Furry" just refers to anthropomorphic art and its fans in general. The porn, fursuits, and other oddness are just subsets. Oh, and sex with animals? That's bestiality. A whole different matter. There's really no difference between a picture of a naked elf and a picture of a naked catgirl, IMO. Both are just fantasy humanoids.

@Namelis1: Hate to tell you, but less than .01% of furs own or have ever worn a fursuit(and i'm not one of those .01), and only roughly half are gay(I happen to be one of the straight ones) So your going to need a new definition. I'm not trolling because frankly i've been involved in the furry fandom for almost 15 years now. So anonymous derogatory comments on teh internets don't bother me too much anymore. and also.
