Some Linux systems have a 10 second boot time or some shit like that. You can build them so that they have no non-necessary boot up programs. I’d say that would be the fastest way to the porn.
I switched to Ubuntu8.10 last month, and have been pleasantly surprised with both the functionality and the speed. For those not in the know, Ubuntu is not even close to the fastest Linux (though at this point it may well be the easiest).
