@Hazard: Same, I’m racking my brains trying to think of who this was. Same artist who did that series of photos of that naked hairy humanoid creature, including one in which the creature was (apparently) trying to rape a woman, some men were pulling it off her, and it had poured a glass of milk over her head.
I’m almost right… doesn’t look like she’s the artist who did the other series of sculptures I’m thinking of, and it wasn’t Ron Mueck either, so now I’m on a quest to figure out what the hell I’m thinking of.
What worries me the most is that these don’t shock, disgust, or affect me in any negative manner whatsoever. Actually, I find the third one, the were-meerkat mum, quite adorable.
I’m not disturbed by any of the three pictures. In fact I’m intrigued by the concept of the first two (interesting birthing pattern) and find the third one quite sweet. The face reminds me of one of the puppets from The Dark Crystal, though.
well.
this is different
holy wtf batshit is this?!?
The dark side of being a treasure troll…
Hey, look, it’s Octomom.
mom?
What fucking drunk approved this?
That would be fantastic in a haunted house, mock someone up like that… Yeah, that’d get people running.
@nobody knows: nobody knows
The 2nd pic is freakin’ me out. Really freakin’ me out.
Looks like these were done by the guy who made giant babies. Was that even a guy? Memory failing me in my old age, sorry.
Crap, I know this artist! She’s a genius, but I forgot her name!

Got it! Patricia Piccinini. Her work is incredible.
SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT NOW!
And Ron Mueck did the giant babies and other similar artwork.
I’ll never understand how the hell this is art.
@ralphyboy69: Did it make you feel something? Anything? If it did, then it’s art.
Art doesn’t have to make you feel warm & fuzzy. It takes a little something extra to make you feel disturbed.
Wicked, strange, wonderfull and exotic.
Otherwise…YUK !
But still very imaginative and wicked.
Wow.
Just wow.
@dorix:
You’re right. Her site is shit, though.
@dorix:
Love his stuff, too.

FIRE THE MISSLES!!! FIRE THE NUKES!!!! FIRE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Tetsuo137: Even the the red button?
@dorix: Her website gave me seizures.
Wow… Very interesting…
That creature in the first and second pic seems to me to be entirely inconsistent. I suppose that was the goal…
Especially in contrast to the humanoid in third pic, which oddly enough, makes perfect sense…
I agree with Silverwolf — the last pic is cute.

STATION!
I can’t believe I had to sign in for this shit. . .
Bottom pic looks like something from “The Dark Crystal”.
