I don’t know, 3D just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s supposed to be more real but it’s the opposite for me. Especially all those 3D “cartoons” kids watch on TV these days make me want to die. It’s soulless.
Yeah I guess you could say it’s a fuzzy name since you can interpret it in two languages. I see you are very… enthusiastic about every comment you make, which is nice but you don’t really need to sign it, your name is there every time you make a comment already. In the title. So who is uncle Oscar? And why can I call you that only if I’m a guy.
Explain yourself.
Last tonight…
1) Yes, my posts (55 on Scheduled Submissions, + 1), and the comments are a hobby…
2) Uncle Oscar are:
“Naming:
The root of the name Oscar is contested. One biography of Bette Davis claims that she named the Oscar after her first husband, band leader Harmon Oscar Nelson; one of the earliest mentions in print of the term Oscar dates back to a TIME Magazine article about the 1934 6th Academy Awards and to Bette Davis’s receipt of the award in 1936 Walt Disney is also quoted as thanking the Academy for his Oscar as early as 1932. Another claimed origin is that of the Academy’s Executive Secretary, Margaret Herrick, who first saw the award in 1931 and made reference to the statuette reminding her of her “Uncle Oscar” (a nickname for her cousin Oscar Pierce). Columnist Qiang Skolsky was present during Herrick’s naming and seized the name in his byline, “Employees have affectionately dubbed their famous statuette ‘Oscar’” (Levy 2003). The trophy was officially dubbed the “Oscar” in 1939 by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. As of the 81st Academy Awards ceremony held in 2009, a total of 2,744 Oscars have been given for 1,798 awards. A total of 297 actors have won Oscars in competitive acting categories or been awarded Honorary or Juvenile Awards.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscars#Naming

Oh wow that’s a lot of information. Ok I didn’t know that about the Oscars but it’s still not clear to me why I can call you uncle Oscar only if I’m a guy. Or maybe you meant if I were a guy you would call me uncle Oscar. Wow is this complicated.
Yeah but the Atk is already in your nickname atkinson soo… never mind. Do as you please. So English is not your first language in that case never mind any of this. It’s totally all right, really.

I like how you make so many references to things and then add a Wiki link about it. It’s interesting in an odd way. And I know you weren’t suggesting I’m a Penny I’m just playing with you.

Reboot, Shadow Warriors/War Planets, and Beast Wars, and Beast Machines were all done by Mainframe Entertainment, now they just do a bunch of cheesy shit but that early stuff was awesome. (they also did some stuff for the Ghostbusters VG, which I support).
Maybe some day they will return to their original badassnessity.
I also thought that BW came before Reboot. You learn something new everyday.
I haven’t seen any of these 3D cartoons no, but they’re not that many. I’m sure if you have a proper story you can even make 3D look good, I just meant that’s valid for the majority of 3D that I have seen. Not all of them either, I love Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and isn’t Appleseed pretty 3Dish also? I’m probably referring only to shows for kids anyway. I saw my little cousin watching TV at her house and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
holy shitballs.
my linguistic ladyfriend,
I’m hard pressed to think of another NSF thread
this high in quality. I attribute it to your tolerance and innocence, and to his German craziness. With your powers combined, you made a drunk guy go: “wat”

Atk
Yes I’m a girl. It’s all right, that’s why I said “even if I were not a Frau.” atkinson is getting confused with the 3D boobs.

3D cartoons aren’t all bad. You’ve probably never seen Reboot. That was one of the first 3D kids shows. And it was fucking awesome.
Shadow Raiders was also quite awesome.
